Transit Forward Philadelphia

The SEPTA University Pass Program (UPass) allows colleges and universities to purchase deeply discounted All-Access Passes for their students. The program gives colleges an opportunity to provide reliable, affordable mobility as a benefit for students, regardless of their income.

Getting colleges to adopt UPass often involves student organizing. To help students learn how to grow such a movement, the SEPTA Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is hosting a training session on UPass organizing in conjunction with Transit Forward Philadelphia. You will hear from student activists and SEPTA employees about what it takes to build support for UPass on a campus. Whether you have any interest in organizing for UPass, or just want to meet other college students who are interested in mobility and transit, we encourage you to attend. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
