Do you live near or travel through the area around 5022 Grays Ave? Are you looking forward to using the new Schuylkill River Trail swing bridge later this year? Did you know that this location is considered a "brownfield site" due to it's previous use as an industrial site?
SEPTA is hosting a virtual meeting to discuss their plan to remediate this site as part of the trolley modernization project. SEPTA has provided details about the meeting which are also included below.

SEPTA is applying for a Brownfields Cleanup Grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to support environmental remediation efforts at 5022 Grays Avenue. This site is proposed for redevelopment as part of SEPTA’s Trolley Modernization Program, which includes the construction of a new trolley maintenance facility to support accessible, fast and easy trolley service.
