On Thursday, June 30th, join SEPTA leaders, Philadelphia elected officials, and transportation advocates for a breakfast panel discussion about the opportunities for sustainable infrastructure investments in the new federal infrastructure bill, and how SEPTA plans to take advantage of these.
Public transportation is a key part of the solution to the climate crisis, and the recently-passed federal infrastructure funding bill will provide several funding sources and grant programs that transit agencies can use to make their operations even greener.
Agency staff and elected officials will be sharing some of the good news about what SEPTA has already been doing to take advantage of these new funding opportunities, and we'll also discuss some of the forward-looking plans for leveraging these new resources.
