Governor Shapiro:The Crisis is Here for Transit Agencies Across PA

As Governor Shapiro prepares to announce his state budget priorities, SEPTA riders are organizing to show we support long-term, dedicated, and expanded funding for transit.

Last year, the state budget passed months late with no new money for public transportation across the commonwealth. As a result, SEPTA has been forced to take away money for repairs and accessibility to avoid service cuts. We need our state elected officials to fund transit in the 2026 budget to keep Philly and communities across PA moving.

The legislature must get back to work, so everyone in Philly can get to work! take action here to send this message to Governor Shapiro

Join State State Representative Sean Dougherty, Transit For All PA!, Transit Forward Philly, 215 People's Alliance and 5th Square for a canvass of the Fox Chase Line where we will talk with regional rail riders about how they can take action to fund transit for all in PA.
