Philly Runs on SEPTA

Join the Philly running community for a run to advocate for SEPTA - Sign up here

With SEPTA's first round of service cuts underway, Philly is experiencing the impacts of cancelled buses and reduced service for all forms of transit. In January 2026, SEPTA plans to implement additional service cuts without state funding.

One bus scheduled to be eliminated in January is the 32 line. The 32 is a critical connection for communities in Northwest, North, and South Philly. To help advocate against these cuts, please join the Philly running community for a run along the 32 bus line.

Whether you run, walk, bike, take the bus, train, trolley, or drive, Philly is a city on the move and we need options to get us to where we need to go.

Meet at the Art Museum steps on Friday, September 12th at 5:30pm to run along the 32 bus route to City Hall to urge Harrisburg to fund SEPTA.

  • We will run from the Art Museum to the south side of City Hall along the 32 bus route where we will hold a short rally for funding.
  • The route will be roughly 2 miles and will be at a casual pace. All abilities are welcome.
  • Running will start around 5:45 and arrive at City Hall before 6:30. If running is not for you or if you are nursing an injury, please feel free to meet us on the south side of City Hall.
