Rally in Philly: Finish the Budget + Stop SEPTA Cuts

RSVP Here

Senate Republicans are holding Pennsylvania’s budget hostage, including crucial investments in transit. The House has passed multiple funding bills, but the state budget is now a month late because the Republican-controlled Senate is stalling, and we are dangerously close to SEPTA being forced to cut service. We need Senate leadership to get back to Harrisburg and finish the budget.  We will only win when we organize together.

Join us, Wednesday August 6th, 11am at City Hall, to rally for transit funding that keeps SEPTA running and moves every Pennsylvanian. We've seen thousands of signs posted in every corner of our city: come August 24th, SEPTA’s service cuts will begin. These cuts will be felt by families, small businesses, and communities throughout Southeastern PA and across the whole state. It’s not too late to save SEPTA, but we need state legislators to return to session and pass a state budget that funds transit for all of us.

When we organize together, we win. RSVP to join August 6th and continue the fight alongside transit riders, workers, and supporters, with Philadelphia-area elected officials. Show you're ready to win the service we deserve. Gather at Dilworth Park on the perimeter of City Hall for speakers and to show your support.

Rally hosted by Transit for All PA!, Transit Forward Philadelphia, and PA Senator Nikil Saval, with remarks from local and regional elected officials, labor leaders, transit riders, and more.
