Join Wednesday Night Rides and the Philly Bike community community for a bike ride to advocate for SEPTA. We'll ride along the 31 and 12 bus routes which were cancelled in August. The route also goes through part of the 32 which was scheduled to be cut in January.
While these bus lines have been temporarily restored, no new money has been approved by the state government for public transportation across the commonwealth.
Whether you run, walk, bike, take the bus, train, trolley, or drive, Philly is a city on the move and we need options to get us to where we need to go.
Meet at the NW corner of 48th and Market at 7:00pm on October 15th. We will roll at 7:10pm
- View the route here. It will be roughly 9 miles long and at a casual pace.
- After dark, PA law requires a headlight and a red tail light or reflector on all bikes.
- We ride for fun--while we sometimes encounter hostile drivers, our practice is to avoid conflict as much as possible. When there's conflict, please pull over to the side to let cars pass instead of confronting drivers.
- New and returning riders alike, please take the time to review our How We Ride guide. Please follow these ride norms so everyone's on the same page, and we keep the ride safe and fun.
