Making All Stops - Transit Arts Event

Making All Stops A transit arts event | Saturday, October 17 | 1–3pm | The Rotunda, Philadelphia

Philadelphia runs on SEPTA. Every rider — the grandmother on the 47, the night-shift worker catching the last El, the kid with headphones on the Broad Street Line — has a story.

Making All Stops is a community storytelling production where SEPTA riders read their own short pieces about their metro memories, their SEPTA stories, their moments of transit and trust, care and connection. We weave together live performances with musical interludes, a visual art display, and an Art Mart where local artists sell original transit-inspired work.

Want to be part of it? We’re looking for performers and visual artists. You don’t need to be a professional. You just need a story or a vision. Please fill out this form.

Got questions?

Do I need to be a professional performer or artist? Absolutely not. If you rode SEPTA, you qualify.

What counts as a story? A memory, a moment, a monologue — original writing performed by you, 3–5 minutes.

What kind of visual art fits? Anything transit-inspired: prints, photos, paintings, zines, mixed media.

All are welcome to join and materials will be provided. Please contact [email protected] with any questions or if there are ways we can make this event more accessible for you to participate.
